Our story
Since 1996.
We began with one hotel, a handful of rooms, and a stubborn idea — that travellers deserve to be welcomed by the people who actually live here.
Thirty years on, Papouis Hotels is still a family business. Six properties stretch from Protaras to Paphos, each one shaped by the coastline it sits on, the village around it, and the same family hands that opened the doors in the first place.
We're small enough to know our guests by name and large enough to look after them properly. We renovate slowly. We answer the phone ourselves. We send our chefs to the market before sunrise. None of this is a strategy — it's just how we grew up.

The family opens its first hotel in Protaras — a small, sea-facing house run by parents, sons and daughters together.

Growing in Ayia Napa
Flora Maria joins the family, bringing a year-round outdoor pool and an address steps from the Monastery.

Marica's & Sunny Hill
Two boutique additions in the coast — intimate, neighbourhood-rooted, family-run.

Larnaca arrives
San Remo opens 500 metres from the bay — a quiet city stay for travellers and families.
